The newly announced student discount from Astute Graphics was great to hear about and something students of design and illustration should definitely check out.

I have used Astute Graphics plugins for Adobe Illustrator since their first ‘VectorScribe’ was launched. They are essential for both creative freedom as well as productivity and I feel Illustrator is not the same tool without them.

I have recently joined their affiliate scheme after spending years promoting them for no benefit, this makes perfect sense to me to have joined! The tool in the banner above is one of the fairly recent additions and it is incredible the difference it makes from shrinking file sizes to the incredible ability to recreate type from previously outlined text.
