Seeing the ads for Sky Sports around town, ‘Its all about the fans’ you have to ask, ‘who are they kidding?’ Increased ticket prices, games shifted to suit TV schedules with no consideration to fan’s travel, subscriptions required to multiple streaming or broadcast services, the additional option for HD and then the additional option for 4K (with the HD downgraded to encourage this). In the middle of a ‘Cost of Living Crisis’ where do they these companies (mostly with tax registration outwith the UK) think the ‘fans’ are getting the money to afford this, to pay multi-millionaire footballers their exorbitant salaries?
