With the proliferation of services like Canva, WordPress templates and web building tools like Squarespace and Wix, all of which are all very useful to get an aspiring entrepreneur off the ground quickly, the internet especially is becoming a very samey place.

It is making things more difficult for designers to demonstrate the value of original and appropriate design - especially when many themselves are using templates from stock libraries also, yes I know I have done it too.

The same thing happened when royalty free photography took over from licensing shots exclusively or getting commissioned photography. You see the same images in so many places and this can dilute your companies' marketing which is so critical for getting new business. It gets difficult to stand out from the crowd and the impact is lost when something has been seen before.
