On hearing the news that Microsoft are sinking data centres in pods on the sea floor, the first thing I thought was that if this is to make cooling the servers easier then surely its going to add to the problem we have with the oceans warming up and causing damage to coral reefs and other sea life?

If they fail they can’t be repaired… but of course that never happens!
